Artist's Comments
A sculpture of a creature I came up with. He's a swanicorn... and he's rather clumsy and stupid... hence the tiny head. He's part lion, part swan, part insect.
His base was wire, his body was shaped with tinfoil, and then his outer skin is sculpey which was painted over. His wings are made of cling film, his eyes are rhinstones that I glued on. He lives on a plywood scrap that I glued green rafia, rocks, sticks and fake flowers and a bit of glow sand to. He looks awsome in a blacklight |
